Amassing Identification

23 December 2016 - The process of preparation has begun.  Today I applied for a passport and ventured into a cold, wet, windy day in the Salt Lake Valley to take new pictures, thinking that it will be much colder for me at this time next year.  In the northern branch of the Edmonton mission in Yellowknife, NWT, inside the Arctic circle, the days now are as short as five hours.  It may have felt cold in Salt Lake, but nowhere near the -34°F forecasted for there on Wednesday this week.

We also discussed that if you encounter a moose walking down the street, it would be unwise to lick it.

Looking Ahead from the Oquirrh Mountain Temple

Christmas is nearly upon us.  The Church's campaign of #LightTheWorld has been very inspiring.  We looked at the "Just Serve" app to see what service opportunities will be available in the Edmonton area.  Have you had a chance to review some of the ways you can express love and service this season?
